Mel's Show & Tell

It's time to show & tell again! Check out Stirrup Queens blog and join in on the fun!

I seem to be stuck in that waiting pattern. Time stands still when you are waiting for the clinic to call. So I have been trying to keep myself busy when I have some down time. Since my goal for the week was a fairly light one I have been passing time by editing some pictures in Elements. Thanks to this program I have been able to salvage some fairly dark pictures that otherwise would have been deleted from my camera. So I just felt like thanking the makers of Photoshop Elements for helping me pass some time and saving a few dark pictures! I wanted to get it lighter but I am such an amateur and everything I tried made it look unnatural.

  1. Gotta love photo editing. It's a good way to pass time, for sure. And sometimes you can really make them pop too.

  5. Oh Photo Editing is a saver! I have even tried jazzing staid photos up a bit as well with that.

Your daughter is beautiful. I also saw photographs of her in beautiful headbands you designed for her. They look gorgeous. She looks gorgeous in them!

  7. Wow, that photo looks great... I probably need to stay far, far away from photo editing. It looks like it could be a major time suck for me. And, ditto a million times about your beautiful daughter. Wow. What eyes.

  8. I need to take a photography class because I suck so badly as a photographer that I end up needing to photo edit almost every picture. Yours are gorgeous.

  10. Photoshop amazes me. I don't have the patience (or the time at this point in my life) to learn how to use it, but my husband does some pretty cool stuff with it.

    What beautiful eyes she has!
